An EICR is an extensive investigation of the fixed wiring of your electrical installation. The report checks existing electrical systems, the wiring, fuse board, earth bonding and other relevant components. It provides knowledge of the safety and compliance with current regulations and identifies potential issues and/or hazards.
It is a legal requirement for landlords to undertake an EICR every 5 years, and private dwellings every 10 years. Commercial spaces may vary.
